Mohammad Amir, left-arm fast, comes into attack
Jason Roy and Alex Hales are at the crease.
In the third one-day international, England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.
England were unchanged from the side that won the second ODI at Lord’s by four wickets as they sought a win in this day/night fixture that would put them an unbeatable 3-0 up in the five-match series.
Pakistan made one change, with Mohammad Nawaz replacing fellow left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder Imad Wasim, who suffered a knee injury while making an unbeaten 63 at Lord’s.
Pakistan skipper Azhar Ali says he “would have loved to bat”, too. “We’ll come hard and ray to get a few wickets early on.” Imad Wasim isn’t fit, who scored an impressive fifty at Lord’s, isn’t fit after taking a blow on the knee, so Mohammad Nawaz comes in as a like-for-like replacement.
